Community Directories Available

There's a wealth of information to be found in the 2008 Thomasville-Thomas County Community Services Directory published by TCPLS. Boasting more than 300 entries, the directory provides quick information on government agencies and local organizations that serve children, teens, adults, families, seniors and veterans in Thomas County.

Free copies of the 2008 directory are available at all TCPLS locations while copies last. Directory information can also be accessed from the library's website by clicking on "Resources" in the navigation bar, and selecting "Community Directory."

"It's the library's mission to provide information to the public," said Nancy Tillinghast, TCPLS director. "We have published the Community Directory for a few years and have found it to be beneficial for everyone who uses it. We are fortunate that Flowers Foods has once again covered the cost of printing the directory this year."

Directory information is compiled and maintained by the library. Any organization wishing to be included in the online directory and future editions of the printed directory should call Keesha Summers at the Thomasville Library (225-5252) or send an email to nancy@tcpls.org.
