Catch the Reading Bug

The library's Vacation Reading Program for children and teens will start on May 27th.

We'll have lots of fun activities at all six library locations, including a visit from Mad Scientists, a storyteller, a magician, and more!

You can sign up for VRP starting May 12th. Join in the fun and Catch the Reading Bug at your neighborhood library this summer!

Online Book Clubs

Try out new books in your email! Sign up for our Online Book Clubs and you'll receive an excerpt from a book in your email each day for a week. By Friday you will have read the first 2-3 chapters of a title, and you can check out a copy from the library if you're hooked!

Online Book Clubs are sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

License Plates Support Libraries

Georgia's elected officials have passed legislation for a license plate to help support public libraries. A project of the Georgia Council of Public Libraries, the special tags will each bring a donation of $10 to the Georgia Center for the Book. Funds will then be used to purchase books for the state's public libraries. more
