Library Cards

TCPLS will issue library cards free of charge to individuals who meet one of the following criteria:

reside in Thomas County
own property in Thomas County
attend school in Thomas County
are employed by a business in Thomas County

Out-of-state cards are available to persons living outside of Georgia who are not employed, do not attend school or do not own property for an annual fee of $25, payable at the time the card is issued.

A temporary card is available for $12.50 and is good for 6 months.

Thomas County Library items can be picked up, returned or requested at any Thomas County Library location. Please keep your library card in a safe place, as you are responsible for items checked out on your card. Report stolen cards immediately. How to Obtain a Library Card

In order to obtain a card, visit any TCPLS location to fill out a short form and present a photo I.D. and proof of your current address.
